Tourist Activities

The village of Nomécourt has a population of about 100.

There are many activities in the area ranging from cultural activities to a number of different sports. 

• Joinville:  cradle of the de Guise family (visit the Castle and the Hall of Justice)
• Wassy:  The village where the massacre that began the Wars of Religion took place.
• Colombey les deux Eglise:  Charles de Gaulle’s home (Museum closed on Tuesdays)

• Interesting fish and geological formations  (Laces de Belaire)
• The Blaise Valley and its churches
• The Der Lake:  Largest artificial lake in Europe with a variety of nautical activities
• La Maison des Oiseaux – The local aviary
• Equestrian center located only 20 km from Nomécourt
• DonMartin le Franc:  The local foundry. Remains of one of the regions oldest industries.
• Many places to fish
• Numerous hiking trails
