This property has been in the “ Montremy” family for several centuries.  It has been through many transformations in the course of time.  Little remains of its original state, which is assumed to have been a protective fortress for the castle of Joinville.  Today the castle is of the 19^th century style.  The oldest building being the sheepfold.  It is located in the department of the "Haute Marne" in the village of Nomécourt.  The closest towns are Joinville (5km), Wassy (12km), Chaumont (45km), St Dizier (25km), Nancy (100km), Paris (280km).
